Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto crashed a recent interview with Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith.

The interviewer asked Smith about the 25th anniversary of Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

“I’ve heard of that record, and a little record called Nevermind by Nirvana. Same day, same year.”

Leto added, “It’s pretty awesome, two incredible classic albums. It’s kind of strange to hear it’s a classic, because it seems like just yesterday.”

Smith said, “It’s flying by.”

Leto then discussed what he believes is a better high than crack or cocaine.

“Assaí I like because I stopped smoking crack and doing coke, so it’s like a natural high.”

He added, “Assaí is a treasure. A Brazilian phenomenon.”

Jared Leto paid tribute to Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington and Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell at the MTV VMA’s a month ago. Watch video below.
