Alice In Chains singer/guitarist Jerry Cantrell had high praise for Stone Temple Pilots, who are now touring with new singer Jeff Gutt, along with Bush and The Cult in a new Instagram post.

“Last show in Washington at Ridgefield tonight and our second in a row sharing the stage with the Cult, STP, and Bush. An absolute honor and pleasure. Great performances and audiences, a hell of a week. Looking forward to a well deserved day of today. Pics courtesy of Scotty D as usual.”

He also wrote, “Seattle ,thank you for sharing the week with us . Rainier Fog has a little bit of all of us from the great northwest woven through it, and dedicated to all our fans around the globe ??”

“Great night at the crocodile last night. Amazing to walk through a tour of our story and get to rock some tunes for our friends later that night. Getting ready to throw down at the white river amphitheater ??”

Cantrell and Alice In Chains have had their own experiences carrying on with a new singer, with William DuVall stepping in for Layne Staley over a decade ago following his April 2002 death. Former Stone Temple Pilots singers Scott Weiland Chester Bennington died in December 2015 and July 2017 respectively.
