Jon Bon Jovi Spotted Driving Bruce Springsteen

Jon Bon Jovi was spotted driving Bruce Springsteen to an E Street Band rehearsal in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, as Springsteen and his longtime group ready the opening run of their upcoming tour.

Springsteen and the E Street Band have been rehearsing at the Ocean Grove Youth Temple over several days this week in preparation for the Land of Hope and Dreams Tour, which is set to begin March 31 at the Target Center in Minnesota.

Asbury Park Press reported that Bon Jovi drove Springsteen to the rehearsal on Saturday, March 21, after the band also rehearsed at the same venue on March 19 and March 20.

The Ocean Grove sessions add to the sense that Springsteen’s camp is locking in a full-scale return, with the rehearsals staged near the Great Auditorium at the Jersey Shore town’s Youth Temple. The sighting also underlines the long-running connection between two of New Jersey’s most famous rock exports, even as their careers have largely moved on separate tracks.

As the tour launch approaches, Springsteen’s live plans continue to attract scrutiny from fans, including concerns around costs as Bruce Springsteen fans fumed over $3,000 tickets during a previous on-sale cycle.

Springsteen’s Land of Hope and Dreams Tour is scheduled to kick off in Minnesota at the end of March, with rehearsals in Ocean Grove suggesting final setlist and production details are being tightened before the first show.
