Josh Freese Leaked As Foo Fighters Drummer In Photo

Jason “Blackball” McLean, also known as “keep em separated guy” is seemingly very close with the band, The Offspring, and Josh Freese. It was revealed that Josh was no longer touring with The Offspring on their fan page.

Reddit has seemingly got the first “Official” hint as to who will play drums for Foo Fighters on the tour. It was noted that Josh plays DW drums and Paiste cymbals.

One wrote: “Yeah this is 100% Josh’s kit.”

Another said: “I’ve seen someone say elsewhere that this is Josh Freese’s kit.”

Meanwhile, Ilan Rubin recently took to his Instagram account and shared the poster of Danny Elfman movie which is set to release soon. He also said that he is excited to be a part of the project, fueling speculation of Josh Freese joining Foo Fighters as well.

It has been noted that Josh Freese has been playing drums for Danny Elfman for a while now. Now, Ilan Rubin has taken the gig, which means more availability for Josh as Foo Fighters’ new drummer. More than ever it seems like he will be busy with the Foos.

Foo Fighters had celebrated Taylor Hawkins’ memory and music at a special gig in London on Saturday, September 3 last year. Hawkins, the band’s drummer since 1997, died in Bogotá, Colombia on March 25 last year. He was 50 years old. Foo Fighters performed for a couple of hours at Wembley Stadium for a special tribute show for the late band drummer Taylor Hawkins. ‘The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts’ also took place at LA’s Kia Forum on September 27.
