Kelly Osbourne Blasts Body-Shaming After BRITs
Kelly Osbourne has issued a pointed response to online body-shaming after appearing at the 2026 BRIT Awards alongside her mother, Sharon Osbourne, as the family continues to grieve the death of Ozzy Osbourne.
In a message shared to her Instagram Stories, Page Six reported that Ms. Osbourne wrote she is going through “the hardest time” in her life and accused critics of “kicking me while I’m down” and “doubting my pain.”
The 41-year-old also addressed what she described as people turning her struggles into gossip, adding that “none of it proves strength; it only reveals a profound absence of compassion and character.” She said she should not have to defend herself, but insisted she would not allow herself to be “dehumanized.”
Osbourne’s comments followed renewed attention to her appearance at the London ceremony, where she wore a fitted black, floor-length gown while posing with Mrs. Sharon Osbourne on the red carpet. In recent months, she has linked her weight loss to mourning, a theme she has expanded on in other public moments, including when she broke down in tears during an Ozzy tribute.
The incident underscores how quickly celebrity grief can be pulled into online discourse, particularly when public appearances become fuel for speculation. Osbourne’s latest statement suggests she intends to set firmer boundaries while continuing to share only selected parts of her life publicly.
