Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson is said to be taking a supportive step back after his relationship with Kelly Osbourne recently ended, with an insider claiming the door is not necessarily closed on a future reunion. The report frames the split as driven by timing and personal pressure rather than a dramatic falling-out, as Osbourne focuses on her health and parenting.
Per The Daily Mail, an insider said Wilson “realized the relationship was on the backburner” and is giving Osbourne space while she prioritises “getting healthy” and being “the best mom she can be,” adding that he will be there “when he is needed.”
“Sid realized the relationship was on the backburner, and now is the time for her to focus on getting healthy, being the best mom she can be – and he will support her when he is needed,” the insider said.
The same source suggested the split may be temporary, claiming Wilson remains a steady presence and that the pair “might get back together once she deals with everything.” The insider also described Osbourne as having “no time to nurture a relationship” right now, while Wilson “totally gets that,” signalling the breakup is being handled on relatively good terms.
“They might get back together once she deals with everything because he continues to be a great support,” the insider continued. “But as of right now, Kelly is trying to figure everything else out and there is no time to nurture a relationship she finds no need for right now, and Sid totally gets that.”
The development follows what has been a fast-moving relationship since the pair began dating in 2022, and Alternative Nation previously reported on Kelly Osbourne’s breakup with the Slipknot member as she navigated major personal issues.
For now, the latest claims point to a pause rather than a definitive end, with Wilson’s reported stance emphasising patience and support as Osbourne works through a difficult stretch in her personal life.
