Kid Rock doesn’t care if “woke” people think he’s racist. The American Badass singer has spent over 25 years being himself—saying what he wants and ignoring critics. Love him or hate him, he’s always real.
Recently, Kid Rock appeared on Bill Maher’s podcast, where Maher mentioned that some liberals think he’s racist. Kid Rock responded bluntly, saying, “Yeah, white woke liberals think I’m a racist? F** yeah. Then to them, f*** yeah I am. F*** ’em.”* He laughed and smoked a cigar, making it clear he doesn’t care what they think.
Kid Rock also said Hollywood’s fear of offending people has ruined comedy, and he’s right. These days, comedians have to be careful about every joke they make, which takes the fun out of it.
In a past interview, Kid Rock said that when he picks band members, he focuses only on talent—not diversity quotas. He believes hiring should be based on skill, not meeting DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) standards.
At the end of the day, Kid Rock just enjoys pushing boundaries, speaking his mind, and making people laugh. Liking edgy jokes doesn’t make someone racist—just like playing Madden doesn’t make you an NFL player.
