Kid Rock has posted on X, “How cool is it to have women compete on Rodeo Teams with men!!!… not because of any DEI crap, but because they are the best at what they do!! Hard not to love a real, badass cowgirl!! Kid Rock.”
Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo is set to return to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on May 16, 2025. This innovative event combines high-energy rodeo competitions with a live concert by the rock icon himself.
The event features six teams, each led by a legendary rodeo coach, competing head-to-head in bracket-style matchups across various disciplines, including barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and breakaway roping. The format is inspired by PBR’s successful team-based bull riding series launched in 2022.
Five of the six teams will retain one returning member per discipline from the 2024 event, filling the remaining positions through a draft. The sixth team will comprise athletes who qualify via the WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) Major held in conjunction with Rodeo Corpus Christi in May 2025.
At the inaugural Rock N Rodeo in May 2024, the WCRA team, known as the Free Riders, delivered a standout performance by winning four of the disciplines in the championship round, securing the title.
Following the rodeo competitions, attendees will be treated to a live performance by Kid Rock, known for hits like “Bawitdaba,” “All Summer Long,” and “Cowboy.” His dynamic blend of rock, country, and hip-hop promises to provide an electrifying conclusion to the evening.
Tickets for the 2025 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo and the subsequent PBR World Finals – Championship on May 17-18 are available now. This event offers a unique fusion of traditional rodeo sports and contemporary music, providing an unforgettable experience for fans of both genres.
