Kid Rock headlining Super Bowl Halftime Program
Reports suggest that Turning Point USA is the Trump administration’s response to the upcoming Super Bowl. Additionally, a Puerto Rican superstar is set to headline the Halftime Show for the 2026 Super Bowl.
John Strand announced on X that the conservative non-profit group Turning Point USA will be launching their own version of the Super Bowl.
The caption of the tweet says, “WOW: It’s official. It’s happening. Turning Point USA is launching the first-ever American Patriot Super Bowl Halftime Show. This is how we win. This is how we take our country back.”
The poster features Kid Rock prominently as the headliner. Other performers listed include Ted Nugent, Travis Tritt, Jason Aldean, Aaron Lewis (of Staind), John Rich, Lee Greenwood, Forgigato Blow, and a guest appearance by Measles. However, John Strand has noted that the artist lineup is not yet official or confirmed.
Turning Point USA, a conservative group, was founded by the late Charlie Kirk, who passed away on September 10th. According to ABC News, this counterprogram will take place alongside the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 8th.
The counterprogram will air opposite the Bad Bunny-led Super Bowl Halftime show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
The website has requested users to share their favorite genres of music and artists they would love to see perform at the event. The All American Halftime Show is launched in protest of the NFL’s decision to hire the Latin star as the official headliner for the Super Bowl.
The “Monaco” singer has been vocal against the Trump administration and conservative politics in America. This has irked a certain conservative population of the country, who have decided to launch their own version of the Super Bowl.
The Puerto Rican singer hit back at critics during his recent appearance on Saturday Night Live. Furthermore, he also acknowledged the contributions of Latin artists to American pop culture
Furthermore, he shared, “It’s more than a win for myself, it’s a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country — no one will ever be able to take that away or erase it.”
