KISS has announced its upcoming KISS Kruise event in Las Vegas. The announcement has ignited controversy among fans regarding the notable absence of drummer Eric Singer from the non makeup KISS reunion performance, as KISS’ official Instagram posted.

The band’s official announcement focused on promoting the Las Vegas activities schedule for the event.

“It’s time to start mapping out your perfect KISS weekend. KISS KRUISE: Land-locked in Vegas activities schedule is officially LIVE!” the band announced.

Fans quickly expressed disappointment and frustration over Eric Singer’s unexplained absence from the lineup.

Eric Singer Snub Upsets Fans

“I love this band but now… I don’t care of this event,” one fan commented. “Moreover, Eric Singer is disappeared without any explanation… For me, the end of the road is definitely behind us.”

The backlash extended to band leaders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons’ handling of the situation.

“I love how every interview over the last 20 years was Gene and Paul forcing the narrative that Eric and Tommy are SO important and part of KISS,” another fan wrote.

“Then, when it doesn’t matter anymore, Eric’s tossed aside with no care or explanation.”

Additional fans demanded transparency from the band regarding Singer’s status.

Where is Eric Singer?!! We deserve an explanation,” another KISS fan commented.

The band has not yet provided an official response to the fan concerns regarding Singer’s absence from the announced lineup.

Singer’s absence highlights his significant role in KISS history and the band’s recent transitions following their farewell tour.

Eric Singer’s Legacy With KISS

Eric Singer’s absence stings for many longtime fans because of the crucial role he has played in the band’s story. Singer first joined KISS in 1991 following the death of Eric Carr, bringing his technical power and hard-hitting style to albums like Revenge and Psycho Circus. For more than three decades, he became an anchor in the group’s ever-changing lineup, returning in 2001 and serving as the band’s main drummer during its highly profitable reunion years and farewell tour.

Many fans view Singer as more than just a fill-in or supporting player. His stage persona as “the Catman,” originally made famous by Peter Criss, became part of KISS’ modern identity. For some, his sudden removal from the Kruise lineup feels like a dismissal of that history. Online forums and fan groups have been buzzing with speculation about whether the decision stems from health reasons, internal disputes, or a simple restructuring of the band’s commitments.

As the KISS Kruise Las Vegas event approaches, the silence around Singer’s status continues to frustrate fans. Without an official explanation, the absence risks overshadowing the celebration and reopening old debates about loyalty, legacy, and how KISS treats its long-serving members.
