Bruce Kulick Reacts to KISS Receiving Kennedy Center Honors

Bruce Kulick recently shared his excitement about KISS being awarded the Kennedy Center Honor Medals. He posted his thoughts on Twitter, showing how proud he was to be part of the special moment.

A Special Day at the White House

The medals were given out in the Oval Office. Band members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss were there in person. Monique, the daughter of the late Ace Frehley, accepted the medal on behalf of her father.

“KISS received their medals of honor yesterday (Paul, Gene, Peter, and Ace’s daughter Monique accepting for her late dad) in the Oval Office. Today is the musical tributes to all that received at the Opera House of the Kennedy Center. Afterwards, an invite-only Gala follows. Eric, Tommy, and I are attending. It’s an honor to be included!”

One of America’s Top Honors

The Kennedy Center Honors are one of the most respected awards in the U.S. for artists. It celebrates big contributions to music, art, and culture. KISS was recognized for their huge impact on rock music and pop culture over the years.

President Trump hosted the event on December 8, 2025. It was the first time a sitting president held the ceremony. The night included tributes at the Kennedy Center’s Opera House and a private gala afterward.

A Band with Lasting Bonds

Kulick attended the celebration with fellow KISS guitarists Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer. Their presence showed the strong bonds still shared among current and former band members. It was a reminder of KISS’s long journey and the many people who helped shape their legacy.

Honoring a Rock Legacy

The full ceremony, including the White House presentation, the musical tribute, and the gala, showed just how much KISS has meant to music and culture. For Kulick and others close to the band, being part of the honors was a powerful moment and a major recognition of their place in rock history.
