Ex-KISS guitarist calls out homophobes and liberals

Former KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent called out ‘grandpa homophobes’ and ‘evil leftist liberals’ in a new social media post.

A fan commented, “I love your look because it always it crosses genders lines. It was not a big deal then, but now it seems that people have become more critical in some ways. You are true to yourself and it’s given me inspiration to be my authentic true self…..you are so talented and would love to see you in Orlando FL if you get this way!”

Vinnie responded, “hi violet. Nice to hear from you. You are so right. It was not a big deal then… it was a fun and creative era , and “glamourous” was in. Boy George broke the taboo… as the 80s progressed it became more normal and acceptable …Although I ran into my share of homophobes .. but all in all it was generally accepted.

But Times changed, bad politics ushered in darkness, evil, leftist liberals corrupting children with drag shows, men in women’s sports … NOT GOOD. People dont want leftist agendas shoved down their throats. They are sick of it. And I don’t blame them. It probably explains the rampant beard baseball cap crowd taking over the music band scene…

I still get grumpy old grandpa homophobes coming here to throw insults, but they’re deleted before they can blink. All in all times change, but I stayed the same. Live, let live. I’m a critical thinker. I live by my book. I belong to no group, crowd, or club. I play create and record my music. I’m good. I’m happy.”

KISS members are no strangers to sharing their opinions, with Gene Simmons recently calling out a rude Ace Frehley fan.
