Krist Novoselic flew his own plane to the Cal Jam festival in San Bernardino on Friday, where Nirvana are expected to reunite, along with performances by Foo Fighters and Novoselic’s band Giants in the Trees.

Foo Fighters have made a new post that gives the strongest indication yet that Nirvana will reunite with John McCauley on vocals/guitar this weekend after already hinting in previous posts about McCauley and Joan Jett.

“Hey @johnjmccauley ! See you soon!

Foo Fighters recently uploaded a new video on Facebook, with the caption: “This is a Jam Cal Jam 18.” The video shows the “Serve the Servants” played backwards from Nirvana’s April 2014 Saint Vitus reunion show in New York. John McCauley from Deer Tick was on vocals for the performance.

Foo Fighters are holding their Cal Jam festival this weekend in San Bernardino, CA at San Manuel Amphitheater, and Krist Novoselic’s band Giants in the Trees and Deer Tick will be on the bill.

Alternative Nation reported earlier that Nirvana have hinted at a reunion performance with John McAuley, and now Foo Fighters are hinting that Joan Jett will also return to sing with the band again after playing with them at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Barclays Center and Saint Vitus 2014.

In a new tweet announcing a screening of Joan Jett’s new documentary, Foo Fighters responded by tweeting: “CAN’T WAIT!!!! What else could we have up our sleeves???” Stay tuned…”

Foo Fighters also just tweeted a new video from Nirvana’s Saint Vitus performance with Joan Jett with the caption: “…anyone got @joanjett’s number ??”
