LADY GAGA gets STARSTRUCK by TRENT REZNOR: “I BLACK OUT every time I’m in his presence.”

Recently, Lady Gaga revealed that her new album “Mayhem” was inspired by Nine Inch Nails and Radiohead, adding that the record has “’90s grunge influence, 2000s pop influence, funk influence, ’80s influence.”

Specifically, Gaga said that NIN’s song “Closer” directly influenced the album’s lead single “Disease.”

Now, during an appearance on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM radio show on Wednesday (March 12th), Gaga was asked why she loved the song “Closer” so much. “Because it’s so good!” she replied.

When asked if she has ever met NIN’s frontman Trent Reznor, the pop star said that she had, but admitted that she was so starstruck that she can’t remember all of the details of the first time they met.

“I forget the first time. I think I black out every time I’m in his presence. He’s an amazing musician,” she said.

Stern then asked if she gets intimidated by Reznor, to which she responded: “Not intimidated, just really excited, stoked, quiet.”

Gaga is such a big fan, that she was recently spotted wearing a Nine Inch Nails shirt while surprising a handful of her superfans.
