Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has posted a new photo on Instagram about Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler where he jokingly snubs his good friend Tommy Lipnick. The Pumpkins are in Europe to kick off their 2019 tour, which will include headlining shows and festival performances with bands like Tool. It will be the band’s first European tour since James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin returned to the band.

Corgan wrote, “Here is Steven Tyler of Aerosmith’s autograph on a wall in Berlin, stood next to by an unknown man @iamstevent #TheUnknownMan.”

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst commented, “Lippy!!”

Lipnick responded, “How am I unknown, ain’t that a bitch.” Corgan liked the comment.

Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin commented, “#theunknownman is everywhere.”

Fred Durst responded, “You’re the best Jim.”

Corgan also recently posted, “This is what Sweden does to you. Another full set rehearsal today. 27 songs from 31 years and counting…Pic by @lindastrawberry @smashingpumpkins.”

He wrote about Jimmy Chamberlin, “For a span of 31 years, I have had the best seat in the house…
@chamberdrums @smashingpumpkins.”

He also praised James Iha, “This guy! Still rockin’ @jamesihaofficial @smashingpumpkins.”

Iha commented, “👍🤘.”

Fred Durst commented, “Beast mode.”

Corgan also recently said, “With the brilliant and indomitable Till of Rammstein, who just released a new record (this was from their record release party). I used to say SP was your band for the Apocalypse, but now I’d say that distinction absolutely belongs to @rammsteinofficial.”
