A video clip has emerged on social media in which Linkin Park vocalist Emily Armstrong warming up her voice in the recording booth of a studio. She could be seen singing dummy lyrics of ‘choking on my own saliva.’
Linkin Park recently returned from hiatus after the tragic loss of their iconic frontman, Chester Bennington, in 2017. They recently unveiled a new single titled “The Emptiness Machine” from their upcoming album From Zero. This marks the band’s first release of new music in several years.
Linkin Park made their comeback in September with a new lineup. They previously had been on hiatus since the tragic death of frontman Chester Bennington, who took his own life aged 41 in 2017. However, they have ended their self-imposed break with Dead Sara singer Emily Armstrong on vocals and Colin Brittain on drums in place of Rob Bourdon.
However, Emily Armstrong’s addition to the band was criticized by some fans and Mike Shinoda addressed the matter. However, she has received support from Chester’s widow, Talinda Bennington. She seemingly approved of the band’s choice to replace Chester. But, Chester’s son, Jamie Bennington launched a scathing attack.
The band’s new album From Zero is arriving on November 15th, and a new track ,’Over Each Other’ has been released after ‘The Emptiness Machine’, and ‘Heavy is the Crown’. The band is set to continue their world tour in support of From Zero this November, including three new shows happening in Paris, Dallas and Sao Paulo.
