Earlier this month, Marilyn Manson celebrated his 56th birthday by throwing a massive party, with attendees including Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan, John 5, Falling in Reverse’s Ronnie Radke, Filter’s Richard Patrick, Wednesday 13, and others.

During the celebration, Manson revealed that in February he will officially be four years sober.

In a recently posted video on Tania Estrada’s Instagram, Manson can be heard addressing the upcoming milestone in his birthday party speech.

“Thank you everybody for coming. I really appreciate it,” he said. “I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for everybody here, even the new people I haven’t met yet, and everybody else who loves and supports me. I love you guys. Thank you for everything. In exactly one month, it will be my fourth year sober.”

In March 2024 when Manson announced a tour with Five Finger Death Punch – his first new tour in five years – fans were worried about the musician’s ability to stay sober. Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory, however, addressed their concerns in an interview with The Jesea Lee Show last year.

“Manson hasn’t been out on the road for a while, so a lot of people wanna see him. At one point, he was one of the most iconic artists on planet Earth. So, he’s back on stage, back in the saddle. That’s gonna be amazing. He’s also sober and clean, so we always support that, obviously,” the guitarist revealed.

“Ivan [Moody] had a dark period, and he was gone, man. My little brother was on the brink of dying, man, and he came back from that. And he’s clean and sober for six years. If he can do it, somebody who was that gone can do it, and he’s now a different man, then it’s a good example for anyone else. If you’re struggling, man, don’t give up. You can come back from that. And Manson is sober and he’s staying clean and doing the work, so also, we’re supporting that. So, it’s gonna be an amazing tour.”
