Marilyn Manson discussed Donald Trump in a new Telenoche interview. Alternative Nation transcribed his comments.

“The only thing I can say about Donald Trump is one time when I put a gun in – when I allegedly put a gun in the editor of SPIN magazine’s mouth, there was a warrant out for my arrest, and I stayed at the Trump Tower.”

He also discussed the 2016 election, pitting Trump against Hillary Clinton, “It’s obviously a clusterfuck, that everyone from the outside must think it’s a bit of a circus.”

The executive editor of Spin magazine filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against shock-rocker Marilyn Manson in New York State Supreme Court on January 1999, alleging he was assaulted by two bodyguards for Manson after the singer threatened him. Craig Marks, executive editor for Spin at the time, said he was pushed against the wall and lifted off the ground by his neck after a November 23rd show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York. Before the alleged assault, Marks said, Manson threatened him by saying, “I can kill you; I can kill your family; I can kill everyone you know.”

“My feeling is that it was altogether premeditated,” Marks, 37, said in early December of 1998 of the alleged assault. “Especially the physical violence … I don’t know what he hoped to gain. I don’t know if he was trying to intimidate me or just act out for his bandmates. … It seems like an action that reeks of some kind of desperation.”
