Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has posted a new photo referencing his toothpick addiction, “There is a toothpick joke in here somewhere…. any suggestions?#wanna #fbf by @rosshalfin”
In 2016 he discussed his toothpick addiction with EW, via MetalheadZone.
Ulrich was asked, “What’s one thing you’ve always wondered about yourself but were too scared to ask?”
“In no particular order: What’s with the accent? What’s with the big forehead? Do I really look like an olive on a toothpick like Kirk Hammett says? Why am I so stubborn? Why am I so contrary? Why the extra chin? Shall I go on?”

Blabbermouth are reporting that Metallica and Slipknot have announced additional tour dates together, after their initial announcement.
“Metallica has added two more shows to its previously announced tour of Australia and New Zealand. The second Melbourne concert will take place on October 24 at Marvel Stadium and another Auckland gig is scheduled for November 2 at Mt. Smart Stadium. As with the rest of the tour, support at the shows will come from Slipknot.
Fan-club presales for the newly added concerts begin Wednesday, April 3 from 1 p.m. with general tickets on sale Tuesday, April 9 at 2 p.m.”
