Motley Crue Attack Fan For Lip Sync Accusation

Motley Crue is not thrilled with the recent comments from the fans. The band have been called out for alleged use of pre-recorded tracks for live shows.

It has been noted that the band responded to one such claim on Facebook by writing “there were no backing tracks for band members” while also reportedly calling the fan a “f***ing clown” before apparently deleting that bit from the comment.

Recently, legendary drummer Carmine Appice made waves online in an interview, claiming that recently retired Mick Mars wasn’t getting along with the rest of Motley Crue over their extensive use of live backing tracks.

In a second-hand account of the tour, Appice claimed Mars was “not happy with the tour”, adding that “everything has been weird for a while with Motley Crue, and Mick didn’t like that everything was on tape.”

Mars confirmed Appice’s claims in his bombshell lawsuit, also claiming that the other three Mötley members “unilaterally” ousted him from the band’s various businesses and streams of revenue, after years of attempting to “gaslight” him into believing that his memory was going away.

Motley had dismissed all the allegations and doubled down on claims that Mick had trouble remembering his parts and that he was being taken advantage of by his representatives.

Motley Crue blasts the fan

This Monday, Motley posted a video of Tommy Lee playing at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California on Aug. 27, 2022. A fan by the name of Bruce Holland wrote in the comment section:

“Saw the backing tracks tour last yr and paid dearly to see it. It’s a hard NO for me this time around…”

As of now, Motley’s response reads:

“THIS IS THE SUMMER TOUR FOOTAGE FOR FUCKS SAKE. THERE WERE NO BACKING TRACKS FOR BAND MEMBERS.”

When Sleaze Roxx reported on the matter, Mötley’s response seems to have also included the words “F***ING CLOWN” at the end (screenshot courtesy of Sleaze Roxx):
