Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx described stealing money from a girl’s purse in a new Instagram post.

“1978-I was 20.#Hollywood.As hard as it was at times it was easy because life was sorta simple.? Wake up,write music,go to rehearsal or a load into a club for a gig then get drunk, steal money outta some girls purse so I had food to eat and pass out:Wake up-Repeat. #RocknRoll.”

Machine Gun Kelly discussed playing Tommy Lee in the new Motley Crue biopic The Dirt in a new Billboard interview, saying the book The Dirt was his ‘bible’ at 13.

“When you’re 13, you don’t really understand problems too much, so you’re just looking at all the things that glitter. It wasn’t until we were on set and doing these scenes that we were like, ‘Whoa, this is dark. What are people going to think about this?’ the Cleveland rapper said. “But there’s something about the truth in that book — the fact that you do fall in love with these people [who] then do this giant nose dive into this dark place.”

Much like Tommy Lee, Machine Gun Kelly said since he rose to prominence people expect him to act over the top, but he doesn’t.

“It was only punk rock when it was against what they were expecting. As soon as they want that, you have to move on to something else and get them to fall in love with that. That’s how you evolve,” Machine Gun Kelly said.
