Nine Inch Nails & Queens of the Stone Age Unite For Major Event

Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails will perform at Riot Fest on September 15-17, 2017 at Douglas Park in Chicago. Check out the lineup below, followed by a Queens of the Stone Age new album update!

Josh Homme told that Queens of the Stone Age’s new album will not include any guests, which means Dave Grohl will not appear on the album, despite being photographed in the studio with Eagles of Death Metal’s Jesse Hughes and Homme. It appears now that the duo were just visiting Homme.

The source reports: “Homme didn’t want to give away release details but did confirm there would be a new single before the [Australian] tour [in July].”

“And [he] did reveal one secret. There are no guests on the QOTSA album, which means no cameo from occasional band member and Homme mate Dave Grohl.”

Homme also discussed his wrist injury, stating that he has pushed himself too hard in the past.

“We have been hitting it hard when it comes to my body and it’s always, ‘We will deal with you later.’

“I had surgery on my wrist once before and four days later, I was on tour in Australia. My doctor called me a dipshit. I had a problem with my tendon, it was very difficult for me to flip the bird for a while.”
