Novoselic responded, “You can buy a Nirvana T Shirt at Target for $13.00. The door at the last Giants In The Trees gig was like $8.00. Upcoming shows are like $10 to $15 per ticket. Our new single is 99 cents on iTunes. Our videos, and almost countless Nirvana videos on YouTube are free to watch. I am not a villain, however, it is sad to see you present yourself as a victim.”
Novoselic is set to appear on Portlandia’s final season.
The final season of Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen’s IFC show Portlandia premieres on January 18th. Fred Armisen has revealed guests on Instagram, including Kurt Vile, Novoselic, former Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins, and former Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty.
Other first-time guests for Portlandia‘s final season include Terry Crews, Rashida Jones, Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Tracee Ellis Ross, and David Wain, who will joing returning guests like Portlandia mayor Kyle MacLachlan, Ed Begley Jr, Jeff Goldblum and Kumail Nanjiani.
