Surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear were featured on a full length show bill together in Seattle for the first time in over 24 years on Saturday night at Safeco Field for Foo Fighters’ show featuring Krist Novoselic’s band Giants in the Trees opening. Nirvana’s surviving members reunited with help from Foo Fighters members to perform “Molly’s Lips.” Nirvana famously covered the Vaselines’ “Molly’s Lips” in the 90’s. Grohl, Novoselic, and Smear previously joined Paul McCartney onstage at Safeco Field in 2013 for a few songs.

Nirvana also posted a photo on their Twitter of reunited members Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear holding a photo of Kurt Cobain backstage. View the performance and tweet from Nirvana below.
