Oasis are back! Details about Liam and Noel Gallagher’s secret photoshoot have come out, just as Oasis announced they will reunite for a tour in 2025. The Gallagher brothers, who have been apart since Oasis broke up in 2009, will perform together on a massive UK and Ireland tour next summer. The tour is said to have more demand than Taylor Swift, and will command expensive prices.
The tour will start in July and include shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park, London’s Wembley Stadium, Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Dublin’s Croke Park, and Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium. They released a new black-and-white photo of themselves together, taken by photographer Simon Emmett. They also shared a statement saying, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Simon Emmett shared his excitement about the shoot on Instagram and thanked everyone involved. The Telegraph showed some other photos from the shoot. According to The Sun, the shoot was highly confidential, with very few people aware of it. The atmosphere was described as electric, and staff at the studio were reportedly required to sign non-disclosure agreements.
Another source told The Mirror that despite speculation, the Oasis 2024 press shot was not photoshopped from separate images. They confirmed that both brothers were present and described them as “laughing and joking” on set, which was heartening to see after their years apart.
Tickets for Oasis’ 2025 UK and Ireland tour go on sale at 9 a.m. BST on Saturday, August 31.
