Ozzy Osbourne has applied for permission for a rehabilitation wing at his Grade II listed home in Buckinghamshire, England.
Rumors were floating around recently Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will move back to Welders House, from LA.
While we don’t know about the move yet as it isn’t confirmed by the man himself, a planned revamp to their Welders Lane estate was submitted to the Buckinghamshire Council.
The plans reveal that the Osbournes want to create a new “rehabilitation east wing” which will attach to the mansion’s kitchen/gym wing.
The wing will feature ramps, “discreet grab rails” and non-slip surfaces, along with a health and welfare exercise studio. it will also have an in-house nurse’s flat on the first floor.
They also have plans to create a pool house and convert the garage and add extra visitor parking space to the west side.
The new place will be all single storey. The plans, which are partially redacted for privacy reasons, show that the mansion’s existing parking is insufficient. The old garage is said to be at a “pinch point” on the drive, which makes it difficult for turning and parking as service and maintenance vehicles that service the hosuse are parked on the drive.
Ozzy and Sharon also want a natural lake to encourage wildlife and provide a rural setting to the area.
In July 2020, Ozzy revealed that he is not completely healthy yet from his medical issues. He sustained injuries from a fall, went through neck surgery, and was in the hospital for the flu.
