Nick Offerman, the former star of NBC’s hit sitcom Parks and Recreation, revealed a list of 6 artists he’d seen live in a new tweet, but said that Pearl Jam was the lie, and that he wasn’t really following the Grunge era of rock in the 90’s.

Nathan Harmer first tweeted, “This is a fun game. You list six bands/artists that you’ve seen at a gig/concert and one lie. People leave a reply with who they think is the lie.”

Here is my list:
1. Enter Shikari
2. Bring Me The Horizon
3. Iron Maiden
4. The Selecter
5. Busted
6. The Smashing Pumpkins.”

Nick Offerman responded, “1. Ray Charles
2. George Michael
3. Parliament
4. Randy Newman
5. Def Leppard
6. Pearl Jam.”

THE LIE IS PEARL JAM
I completely missed that whole grunge period…

George Michael was my first concert in ‘84 or so, because I could only go to what my sister would drive to.
HE WAS ASTONISHING.

While Nick Offerman isn’t a fan, Pearl Jam have a huge celebrity fan in NBA legend Dennis Rodman.

He discussed how Pearl Jam close their shows, and his love for Mother Love Bone, in a YouTube quiz show last year.

“Rockin’ in the Free World, they normally end with that, I think lately it’s been Yellow Ledbetter, the last song, always called the go away song. (Hums Yellow Ledbetter) Get the fuck out!”

“Mother Love Bone, actually I have it on my iPad over there, I was listening to a couple of the hits before they ventured off.”

“You basically asked me questions you thought I knew of, as far as every day questions, but you didn’t ask me personal questions about their lives. Where was Eddie Vedder from in the beginning, Chicago, San Diego, or Seattle? I thought you guys would go in-depth like that, a lot easier to do that.”
