Pearl Jam have leaked a clip of their new song “Take The Long Way.”

Lifted posted on the Ten Club board about Gigaton, “Ive probably listened to this album 10 times by now. Im really digging it. I might love it, but not sure yet. Still digesting. I do at least feel comfortable saying its their best album since riot act in my opinion. Time will tell how i feel about it relative to the rest of the catalog.

My major critique at the moment is the inclusion of never destination. It falls in line with supersonic and let the records play from the last two albums. It just sounds silly and pointless in the context of the rest of the songs, but i guess the band mustve liked it enough.”

JV267526 responded, “This is a top 5 PJ album in my eyes, maybe top 3. I was looking at this track for track with other PJ albums, as well as taking into account the flow and unity of the album as a whole and it is right up there.

It almost feels like this album should of slotted in between Vitalogy and No Code in terms of what it is. There is some of the early PJ hard hitting tenacity, and has an organic free flowing feeling like No Code. With each listen the songs seem better. Seven O’Clock is one in my eyes you need to listen to a number of times to truly appreciate it, and one that gets even better with each listen.”

HughFreakingDillon said, “I’m shocked at these reviews. maybe it will grow on me. so far, i’m not digging it. save for the first 4 and comes then goes.”
