Pearl Jam have released a teaser of their new song “Quick Escape” on Twitter, and it evokes memories of the band’s early 90’s Grunge work. The song appears on the band’s new album Gigaton.

Forty Shades posted on the Ten Club board in response to a negative Gigaton review, “I do not mind a somewhat more critical review, but here too: analysis and well thpught motivations.are paramount. This was badly motivated and written review.. This sentence contradicts itself, if you claim a band has a long standing due to its songwriting how can you speak of a band with a “longstanding identity” and immidiatly claim; “or lack thereof”?

This does not make sense. Quoting a song from VS at the start, does not indicate you know the progress of this band. They have experimented on every album and have moved outside their comfort zone often: it is ian ntegrated part of their identity. All fans know that. You cannot hail this and dismiss it at the same time.”

TN49724 said in the topic, “I’m loving DoTC and SBWM. The other 3 songs they’ve released so far the past couple of days are kind of short, just my opinion. I’m not a paid Slant reviewer though, so what do I know?

That last one was like 16 seconds, catchy, but short. Plus, only instrumental?!? Really digging it though!

Seriously, I fee like I’m the only person who hasn’t heard the whole album yet.”
