Rage Against The Machine guitarist TOM MORELLO calls out the IRONY of PRESIDENT-ELECT TRUMP praising THE JAB and attacks MATT GAETZ.

In 2021, just days after being booed at a Bill O’Reilly event for revealing he received a booster shot, Trump sat down for an interview in which he praised the success of the shots.

“The (shot) is one of the greatest achievements of mankind,” he told Candace Owens at the time. “I came up with a shot, with three shots all are very, very good,” he said, referring to the Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson shots.

Trump continued: “The ones that get very sick and go to the hospital are the ones that don’t do the (shot), but it’s still their choice,” he said. “And if you take the (shots) you’re protected, the results of the (shot) are good.”

Despite Trump taking credit for the shots, his base has largely been very vocally against them.

Now, 3 years later, Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello has taken to Twitter/X to vent about the irony behind Trump’s comments.

Along with sharing a 2021 article about Trump’s interview, Morello wrote:

“I never gave a flying Matt Gaetz if any of y’all wanted to cough into your MAGA grandpa’s mouth back in the day, but the cognitive dissonance (look it up) that Trump’s unapologetic praise of “the jab” causes (and his taking the booster! Wow!) IS RICH.”
