Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman discussed the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on New York City and Washington DC in a recent interview with TV4Play. Alternative Nation transcribed the quote.

“I was certainly saddened, just not in a patriotic way, but in a humanitarian way. Like why are people doing this to other people? This is just too much, I mean, I’m sure that America was partially responsible for that, and I’m sure some other very powerful people in other places in the world were responsible. It was just a sad day for planet earth, for everybody, and it still is.”

Yesterday was the 15-year anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Dave Navarro tweeted the following about the anniversary.
