Jake Reiner recently made a rare public outing after the brutal slaying of his father and mother, Rob and Michele Reiner.
Jake Reiner and Romy Reiner spotted in public
The 34-year-old and his girlfriend, Maria Gilfillan, were recently pictured holding hands while strolling in Malibu, California, over the weekend.
They walked around keeping straight faces, and Jake was seen talking on the phone at one point. Jake had a casual attire for the outing, sporting a blue button-up, jeans, a hat, sunglasses and white sneakers.
As for Gilfillan, she donned a green sweater, a gray jacket and jeans.
She also accessorized with a tan shoulder bag, beige boots and sunglasses.
Romy Reiner was also spotted for the first time since her parents’ passing. She marked her 28th birthday at a somber beach gathering. Romy was photographed standing outside of a beach house with her loved ones on Saturday, according to snaps obtained by the Daily Mail. She kept warm in a sweater and pants for the daytime outing.
Rob and Michele were tragically murdered at their Brentwood, California, home on December 14th.
As per to their death certificates, they died within “minutes” of being stabbed several times.
Their bodies were later cremated and handed over to Jake. It was reported that their Rob and Michele were found by their daughter, Romy Reiner.
The 28-year-old told officers that her brother Nick Reiner, who has a history of substance abuse and violence, should be a person of interest. Nick was apprehended later that evening in downtown Los Angeles after reportedly leaving a bloody trail of evidence at the Pierside Santa Monica.
The 32-year-old was hit with two separate charges for first-degree murder and is currently behind bars at Twin Towers Correctional Facility, awaiting his January 7th arraignment.
