Ozzy Osbourne’s wife Sharon Osbourne recently opened up on her husband Ozzy Osbourne. She responded to a tribute post shared on Instagram.
The Osbourne family had previously released a joint statement after Ozzy’s passing. Sharon had not made any individual public comments until now. Her response came as a reply to Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale’s tribute message about the legendary rocker.
‘RIP OZZY – A great man and a true legend,’ Rossdale wrote.
‘I met Ozzy through Jack just a few times but he was so warm and kind and funny and I love that memory. Sending much love to his family at this difficult time. Rest in power.’
Sharon’s brief but heartfelt response simply read: ‘Bless you.’
This marks Sharon’s first personal public statement after Ozzy’s death. It follows the family’s earlier collective announcement.
Sharon’s measured response reflects the profound loss of a partnership that defined both their personal lives and the music industry for over five decades. The couple’s relationship began in the early 1970s. It evolved into one of rock music’s most enduring partnerships.
Ozzy and Sharon first met in 1970 when she was just 18 years old. She was working for her father Don Arden’s music management company. Their professional relationship transformed into romance. They married in 1982 in Maui, Hawaii. They subsequently raised three children together—Aimee, Kelly, and Jack.
