Slash Mourns Stepdaughter’s Passing, Shows Canceled

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is grieving the recent loss of his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, who died on July 19, 2024, at the age of 25. Lucy-Bleu was the daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, and she was also the stepdaughter of Slash and Samantha Somers Knight. Her passing has been met with a wave of sorrow from family, friends, and fans.

Meegan Hodges shared a heartfelt statement on social media about Lucy-Bleu’s passing. In her message, she described Lucy-Bleu as an incredibly talented artist and a passionate dreamer. The statement also highlighted Lucy-Bleu’s charm, sweetness, and the deep love she brought into the lives of those around her. The family has requested privacy during this challenging time and asked that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve this devastating loss.

“Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.”

In light of the tragedy, Slash has made the difficult decision to cancel four scheduled dates of the S.E.R.P.E.N.T. blues festival. The canceled performances are:

  • July 22 – Cincinnati, OH – PNC Pavilion at Riverbend
  • July 24 – Interlochen, MI – Interlochen Center for the Arts
  • July 25 – Huber Heights, OH – Rose Music Center
  • July 27 – Windsor, ON – The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor

Michael Jackson and Slash’s 2009 Collaboration was also revealed.
