Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin appeared to open up about seeing the Siamese Dream cover girls 25 years later in a new Instagram post, unless he’s possibly referring to working with Billy Corgan and James Iha again.

“It’s good to see old friends again. Especially when they’ve come so far and have so much to talk about.”

Ali Laenger, one of the Siamese Dream girls, posted an old photo on Instagram right around the time of the photoshoot, “Daddy look what I can do. @namaste2u626 ? #1993.”

Laenger was photographed with Billy Corgan in the 2000’s, and talked to TMZ in 2011 when Billy Corgan trolled the media by saying then Smashing Pumpkins bassist Nicole Fiorentino was one of the Siamese Dream cover girls.

TMZ reported in 2011, “An all growed up Ali Laenger tells TMZ there’s no way the bassist — Nicole Fiorentino — is the girl who posed for the ’93 “Siamese Dream” album shot because:

— Nicole’s age doesn’t match. Doing the math, Nicole would have been about 14 when the pic was shot … the girl on the album is clearly around 7.

— Ali says the photo was shot specifically for the album, and not a candid pic as Nicole has claimed.

Corgan tweeted Nicole’s tale a few days back, but he’s either joking with fans … or Nicole pulled one over on him.”
