Matt Cameron joined his Soundgarden bandmate Kim Thayil’s band MC50 on their North American tour on Friday night in Los Angeles at the John Anson Ford Theater. Cameron previously performed with the band in Europe over the summer. Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan was also a guest performer, with Guns N’ Roses tour manager Del James also in attendance for the show.

Faith No More bassist Billy Gould is in MC50, and FNM has a history with Guns N’ Roses going back to the Use Your Illusion tour, along with Soundgarden who also opened.

discopunkfamily posted on Instagram, “I saw Soundgarden at Lollapalooza 92’ as a fresh fifteen year old little punk rocker. If you would of told me 26 Years later I documented the MC5 on their @mc50th anniversary tour. I’d ask where do I sign up.
