Welsh rockers The Stangs are debuting their new music video for “Dirty Faces” exclusively with Alternative Nation, off of the American Sessions EP. The track sees The Stangs travel to New York City and experience the city’s landmarks and skyline, mixed with some performance and recording footage. The track has a great catchy simplicity to it, with melodic guitar work that brings back memories of 90’s bands like Lemonheads and Blind Melon, and a song structure like The Beatles, and vocals like Oasis. Lead vocalist Graeme Heath has a real Liam Gallagher swagger to his singing, and an Elvis Costello depth to his lyrics.

The Stangs caught the ear of indie producer, Michael Baker, during a show at London’s The Troubadour, the band was invited to a marathon three day writing and recording session at his New Jersey studio. The result is a four song EP, American Sessions, which will be released song by song over the summer and explores the band’s diversity of sounds, styles and influences.
