Rumors recently emerged suggesting that Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and longtime partner Aimee Preston have gone their separate ways.
On Friday (Dec. 19th), TMZ claimed that the couple had called it quits after 11 years together.
The publication, however, later updated their report stating that insiders familiar with Tyler and Preston have denied the split.
“Sources close to the couple tell TMZ they have NOT broken up and are just fine,” TMZ stated.
Before 77-year-old Tyler and 38-year-old Preston started dating, the musician had hired her as his personal assistant in 2012. According to TMZ, the pair began dating in 2014, but didn’t go public with their relationship until 2016 when they were spotted holding hands at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Oscars viewing party.
As reported by People, the couple’s most recent red carpet appearance came earlier this year in February 2025, when they were photographed alongside Tyler’s daughter, Mia Tyler, at the 6th annual Jam for Janie Grammy Awards Viewing Party in LA.
