Music Business Worldwide is reporting that new Stone Temple Pilots frontman Jeff Gutt has signed a worldwide publishing contract with Reservoir.

The deal includes global rights to Gutt’s entire catalog of titles, including Stone Temple Pilots’ self-titled 2018 release, plus future works.

Gutt joined STP after a global search to find someone with whom the band could not only perform their hits, but collaborate on new material. He debuted with the band in November 2017 at the Troubadour, and has heavily toured with the band in 2018.

“I’ve been a longtime Stone Temple Pilots fan since their debut in the 90’s, and it’s as a fan that I got to know Jeff’s story, his writing and his voice,” said Reservoir SVP of Creative and A&R Spek who signed Gutt to the roster. “We at Reservoir look forward to working closely with Jeff, his team, and STP as he travels the world and wins fans one song at a time.”

“I’m looking forward to working with the Reservoir team towards a long and mutually rewarding relationship,” adds Gutt. “I thank them for their partnership and support!”
