Shavo Odadjian of System of a Down, Phil Demmel of Machine Head, Jason Christopher of Corey Taylor, and Brandon Pertzborn of Corey Taylor have joined forces to record a quarantine cover of Stone Temple Pilots’ “Dead & Bloated”. Check it out below.

Christopher wrote in a message, “I hope you enjoy watching this as much as we enjoyed making it.

“I would like to thank the homeys: @jayruston For taking time out of his busy schedule to do this sweet mix, @rarebirdlit for the studio, @dirtyern12 for making this rad video, and @ra_diaz for the company. And my brothers in arms: @phildemmel @shavoodadjian @brandonpertzborn . I love you guys so much and thank you for absolutely crushing this!! I hope we did @stpband justice”.

STP fans on Reddit recently discussed the lyrical themes of Tiny Music, “I know this album was supposed to be like an ode to 60s rock and shit but I can’t help but notice that nearly every song mentions a wedding in the lyrics or something relevant to one.

Anyone else notice this?”

Another fan responded, “Lyrical theme?

Druuuuuuuuuuuuuugs.

While it’s my favorite album, Scott’s lyrics were far less focused than other releases. It’s no surprise that they weren’t able to tour this album much because of Scott going to rehab.”
