Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz has ripped a new Jimmy Kimmel Live skit featuring Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and Billy Crystal where they play Satan and God respectively, and argue over who will get Cruz.

Senator Cruz tweeted, “Really getting into the Christmas spirit, Jimmy Kimmel just aired a skit with ‘God & Satan’ arguing and eventually deciding that I should go to Hell. It’s almost as if Jimmy’s feelings are still hurt that I kicked his ass at hoops….”

Cruz recently feuded with Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor. Reznor called out Cruz at a concert in Irving, Texas last month. Cruz recently defeated Robert ‘Beto’ O’Rourke in a midterm senate election. O’Rourke received support from many elites in the film and music industry. Alternative Nation transcribed Reznor’s comments.

“Who voted for Ted Cruz? See the lights aren’t on, I can’t see. Is there any way to turn the lights on? I’d like to see. Raise your hand, you guys, nothing to be ashamed of, just checking. He might be here tonight, he was bugging to get on the guest list, and I told him to fuck off. We put him on a few years ago, he drank all the beer, and was just a pain in the ass to be around. Can’t hold it against you.”

Cruz later responded to Trent Reznor on Twitter.

“To all the gullible reporters who are ‘reporting’ that I asked to be on the guest list at a Nine Inch Nails concert: uh, no, NIN is not my music taste. He was clearly joking. And for the record, I also didn’t ‘drink all his beer’ the last time…but I would have! #FakeNews.”
