Ted Nugent Rips Food Brands in Rant

Ted Nugent called the Bad Bunny debate “the ultimate condemnation of political correctness,” argued “we don’t know the difference between legal… and illegal,” and told Joe Scarborough: “have me on your show and debate me.”

Ted Nugent sparked fresh backlash and support online after a Real America’s Voice clip circulated on X showing the rocker attacking major consumer brands and making sweeping claims about the food supply, before pivoting to praise for a controversial Idaho death-penalty policy. The segment was posted on Feb. 21 and quickly drew thousands of views, putting Nugent’s latest political commentary back in the spotlight.

In the video excerpt, Nugent aimed at large companies and questioned their decision-making, while alleging there is “chemical warfare in our food,” according to a post by Real America’s Voice.

He also singled out beer and cereal makers during the rant, asking “How stupid can Bud… Kellogg and post cereal manufacturers be,” as the clip framed his comments as a broad attack on “corporate America.”

Nugent then moved into criminal-justice issues, praising Idaho for authorising “death penalty by firing squad for pedophiles.” The musician has a long history of political outbursts, including a recent moment when he exploded at rich ‘thugs’ in a separate rant, as his commentary continues to blur the line between rock persona and partisan messaging.

With Nugent’s remarks now circulating widely again, the clip underscores how his statements about food, corporations and law-and-order issues routinely ignite debate far beyond music, particularly when amplified through short social-media excerpts.
