Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge recently took to his Facebook account and posted a picture. In the caption, he made it clear that he fell sick, but he is recovering. He wrote:
“I am bathing my sickness in bleach… I am so sorry about the cancellation of shows but boy did I get sick. Coming out of it now, looking forward to continue the adventure. @blink182”
Fans are excited that Blink-182 will be able performing tomorrow night in Detroit. Tom DeLonge’s post comes after the band canceled their concerts in Kansas City and St. Louis “due to illness.” They announced the news on social media.
“Unfortunately, due to illness we are unable to make it to Kansas City and St. Louis,” the band wrote on X, confirming that refunds would be issued automatically to ticket holders who purchased through Ticketmaster. “We are so sorry and hope to see you next time,” the band added.
They didn’t mention which band member was ill but signs showed that it was none other than Tom DeLonge, who struggled during a show. Now, DeLonge has also confirmed it. During a recent concert in Milwaukee, he couldn’t play One More Time (OMT). It happened after the band played ‘Dammit’ and they even decided to nix a song from the setlist.
Blink-182 is currently on a U.S. tour. The band started their trek in June with their “One More Time Tour. It is set to continue on August 12 in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena. The group performed at Lollapalooza in Chicago recently and they will be heading on an overseas tour later this month.
Blink-182 will be headlining Reading & Leeds festival in the U.K and recently they have even uploaded clips of four new songs from the One More Time deluxe edition which fans are excited about.
