Tool may be joining the likes of Billie Eilish, Halsey, and Blink-182 at Lollapalooza in Brazil. While the aforementioned bands and artists don’t seem to make much sense on paper, a lot of bands and artists will fill out the show very well.
A photo was recently shared which shows the bands and artists that will be at the upcoming fest.
Translated, the text says: “Confirmed: Billie Eilish, Paramore, Blink 182, Drake, SZA, The 1975, Wolf Alice, Yungblud, Role Model, Wallows, Denzel Curry, Tove Lo, Jane’s Addiction and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard. Pre-confirmed: Halsey, Gayle and Inhaler.”
In the negotiation section, we see some other really big name acts which many will also enjoy.
In negotiation are: “Tame Impala, Tyler the Creator, King Princess, Carly Rae Jepsen, Kali Uchis, Calvin Harris, Rezz, Black Coffee, Two Door Cinema Club, Royal Blood, Girl in Red, Don Toliver and Joyner Lucas.”
Then we look down the list a bit and we get to the rumors section of the piece which we see Tool under. When it comes to Tool, it’s very hard to tell if we will or will not get Tool on board, but it would be a great move for the band – not that they really need it.
The Rumor section reads: “Tool, Hayley Kiyoko, Aurora, Sigrid, Maggie Rogers, Sam Fender and Swedish House Mafia.
Discarded: Olivia Rodrigo, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Silk Sonic and Glass Animals..”
It looks like if we do get a reunion of the original Blink-182 lineup that they will possibly be joined by Tool and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which would really set the tone for a fun night. Along with all of these rumors, there is currently no word on what set times will look like or who will be playing on the same stage as who.
