While Hagar only shared the video to share memories from Mexico with his wife, a commenter caught Hagar’s attention. The user wrote “It’s David Lee Hagar! Who knew?!”
Hagar then responded to the user with clapping and laughing emojis.
David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar have had a bitter relationship over the years. However, things worsened when Roth shared a diss track aimed at Hagar.
In the video he dropped on YouTube under the title ‘Where Is David Lee Roth Director’s Cut?’ the Van Halen rocker dissed Hagar in the lyrics after their ongoing feud. The lyrics go: “Sammy Hagar’s not the same / You can drop that singer from extreme / But no matter where you walk around / There’s a little David everyone.”
In addition, Roth didn’t accept Hagar’s offer to join his Best Of All Worlds tour. However, it didn’t bother Hagar. The Red Rocker said Roth is an unpredictable person, and also explained the production, saying it brings the whole level up and he put a million-and-a-half dollars into it.
