Chris Cornell’s widow Vicky has shared a previously unseen video that her late husband filmed on his phone just weeks before his death on Easter 2017.
She wrote on Instagram, “Sharing a personal video from last Easter, 2017 and wishing you all a Happy Easter- Chris and I drove to the store, bought over 300 eggs, filled them with candy and hid them all around the property. Some days are more difficult than others -we miss him so much.
The reality of never again hits home hard. Watching this and hearing Chris’s voice – the always witty Cornell made me realize we are also so blessed to have been filled with so much love and so many beautiful memories. I know one thing for certain, Chris would never miss out on any of it and this Easter was just another painful reminder of not only what my children and I have lost but also what my husband has lost.”
