Faith No More frontman Mike Patton returned to the stage with Dead Cross last night at the El Rey in Los Angeles following a skateboard accident that left him injured. His bandmates made a somber announcement canceling the prior night’s show, leading to many fans being concerned before Patton told fans on social media that he was fine, and that he was in a skateboard accident rather than a car accident.
“Check me out, I’m all fucked up, see?” Patton said at last night’s show. “This is what happens when a 50 year-old tries to skateboard…bad. Whoever came last night, thank you, for your patience and understanding. And we hope you fucking dig it!”
