What Cranberries Left Beside Dolores O’Riordan’s Open Casket Revealed In New Photo

Surviving Cranberries members Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan, and Fergal Lawler left a beautiful tribute beside the open casket of their late singer Dolores O’Riordan as her body lied in repose over the weekend.

They left a a bouquet of flowers, inscribed with lyrics from the band’s hit “Linger” that read, “The song has ended, but the memories linger on. Love always.” The surviving members signed the note. You can see a photo below.

The Irish Independent reports that President Michael D Higgins is expected to meet the family of Dolores O’Riordan ahead of the rock star’s removal service in Ballyneety, Co Limerick this evening.

President Higgins is due to meet the family privately a spokesman for the President confirmed.

A major garda traffic management plan is being prepared around Ballyneety village, Co Limerick, ahead of the removal service this afternoon of Cranberries singer Dolores O’Riordan, who died suddenly last week.

The Cranberries lead singer was found dead in a London hotel last Monday. Police quickly ruled out foul play, and a full inquest into the cause of death of Ms O’Riordan’s death will take place at Westminster Coroners Court in April.

Yesterday, thousands of people attended a public reposing of the the mother of three, at St Joseph’s Church in Limerick city.
