Sir Paul McCartney was recently spotted at New York’s JFK airport. He greeted the fans while making his way through the airport. According to some fans, the 79-year-old musician looked a bit older. He was spotted after the news broke that Beatles memorabilia is being auctioned off as NFTs.

McCartney was seen donning a black two-piece suit and matching winter coat as he strolled through the airport with an armed police escort. Sir Paul wore a black suit, layered underneath a smart black coat, and paired with matching shoes. He bundled up in a black hat and coordinating scarf, and carried a dark colored bag. It was noted that he was abiding by coronavirus rules as he wore a matching black face mask over his mouth and nose.

McCartney recently announced his first tour dates since 2019. The U.S. run kicks off this April in Spokane, Washington and it will conclude in New Jersey in mid-June.  “I said at the end of the last tour that I’d see you next time,” McCartney said in a press release. “I said I was going to get back to you. Well, I got back!”

McCartney released his latest album, McCartney III, in 2020, before enlisting a host of collaborators (Beck, Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Devonté Hynes, Damon Albarn, and others) for a companion LP, McCartney III Imagined, the following year. Peter Jackson’s stupendously long documentary on the making of Let It Be came out last year.
