7 shows 8/8 and 8/10 Seattle. Boston and Chicago. Forget where the other one is. Us and Canada Tour in 2019 also. Not sure about anywhere else

kind of weird they’d do a show on a Wednesday? According to the mariners schedule there’s no games in Seattle from the 6th to 16th? You’d think they do Friday/Sunday or Saturday/Monday or something?

I’m just given the info.

Not seeing a Wednesday show at Safeco being a winner. I don’t see how they could even sell it out, there’s really 50,000 legit PJ fans in the Seattle area? It would have to be a greatest hits show on an unprecedented level to keep that many casual fans engaged. I understand a weekend show working because fans like myself would fly in. Too bad that wouldn’t just play the Gorge which 99% of us prefer but I guess they’ve are obsessed with this ballpark thing for whatever reason. If they think the vibe at Safeco will come close to Fenway or Wrigley they are delusional. Those are the two most iconic ballparks in the world. Safeco is an okay ballpark with virtually zero history despite being around for two decades.

Ballparks are great for games, not intimate concerts that are all about
    sound.

Being confined to a row and seat number for a rock show f#cking blows.

I’ve been to 15+ PJ concerts and well over 200 concerts. Both Fenway shows were absolutely prime.

How many big time bands do you see where you don’t have a seat#? Do you mean floor tickets? If so, the field is not seated and is a mighty big playground. I respect your need for movement, but you won’t be moshing or wildly moving about at a PJ show. Not even if they play “Blood”.

If there were any drop off in sound, it was plenty made up for by the setting imo. I’ve heard bad sound shows, and I couldn’t really notice anything off at Fenway shows. They must have a great sound set up guy. I’d highly recommend you give a baseball park a try. Football type venues was where I had more issue. Happy concerting and happy new year!

agree with Drew, wouldnt even go see PJ in a stadium setting

I’d highly recommend you give a ball park a shot. I respect your concern about sound quality, but there wasn’t a big, greatly noticable drop in quality believe it or not. Indoor shows have burned me far more.

They need to hop on the winery circuit. Fabulous settings… much more intimate. Saw them at The Gorge. Wasn’t that great for folks sitting on the lawn.

    • YES .. winery tour would be fan-f&*(tastic! I like your style!

The rumors say 2019. Is Seattles MLB schedule for then already out? I looked and couldn’t find the Wednesday date for 2019 Mariners.

If the “article” is just sloppy writing and they mean 2018 for park shows, but 2019 for full tour, that makes more sense I guess. Maybe write more thorough when talking dates in the future (even if just rumors).
